Thé Big Clean!

It was a busy day on campus this morning. Everyone was busy cleaning their rooms. They had to take everything out of the closets, drawers, and shelves. Following the five rules of Maria Kondo they honed their rooms to keep all the essential items. It was a full day for some and a short day for others, haha! This is all in preparation of packing their bins for storage or to take home.

Sunny Hot weekend in Victoria

Well the sun and heat are here to stay, we think, we hope. It was a big week for all our AP students with exams, once again, so the sun was a warm welcome!

This week was also filled with rugby and a birthday celebration with delicious cupcakes delivered to the house.

The weather was just perfect for this weeks sailing regatta. Symons killed it! Many medals were brought into the house 🥇🥈🥉

The SMUS boarding community also volunteered their time in the community at Quadra Village days – much fun was had!

The new additions to Symons House

Term 5 is complete and most girls are breathing a sigh of relief! There are still a few AP exams to be written over the next two weeks, but it is so nice to see the girls in the house enjoying a well deserved break before term 6 begins on Monday.

Some of the grade 9’s and 10’s got out to enjoy the sun during their Saturday activity.

Over Spring Break Symons house welcomed three new babies. Ms.Kaufmann had twins, a girl and a boy who she named Sully and Archie. Ms DeGoede had a little girl who she named Halle. Both moms and babies are all doing well, we miss them in the house but are thankful for the help of Ms Tina Lum and Ms Sam Butler, who have stepped in to cover in Symons house until the end of the year.
